sourcingMODERN

My friend Alan recently asked me to take some pictures for a friend opening up an "antique" store specializing in modern art. Rachel had seen some of my portfolio online and was eager in having me take digital shots of some art pieces. These digital shots would then be incorporated in a website for the store. When I was asked, I felt both flattered and apprehensive. I had never photographed artworks nor really dealt with indoor lighting. I knew nothing about "modern art." Nevertheless, I was very excited about this new assignment. It has been fun photographing a lot of beautiful, cool objects that include light fixtures, jewelry, sculptures, ceramics, and furnitures. I now appreciate house furnishings and design much more! Below are some of my favorite photos (not necessarily favorite objects).
